Composition:

Each 5 ml of Gripe Water contains: Jeera(Cuminum cyminum) 0.50ml, Ajwain (Trachyspermum ammi)0.40ml, Saunf (Foeniculum vulgare) 0.40ml, Sowa (Anethumgraveolens) 0.40 ml, Pudina Sat (Mentha spicata) 0.50 ml, Sugar andexcipients base q.s.

Gripe water shows its action by relieving the discomfort in infants and children from Colic symptoms, Restlessness, Gastritis, Nausea, Hiccups and teething pain. Research studies on each herbs used in formulation of gripe water show action on digestive system as tonic. As newly born babies have immature digestion system, gripe water works excellent in problem of indigestion. The herbal content shows soothing effect on gastrointestinal system which helps relieving from flatulence, hiccups and colic symptoms. Analgesic action of herbs in gripe water relieves infant from stomach pain that further helps them in frequent spitting up and irritability during and after feedings.
