This model khukuri has been used by British Gurkha in Iraq war which is very famous by the name of Iraqi operation freedom khukuri. Because Of its excellent grip and perfect weight this khukui makes more practical. Middle size of this khukuri can be use for every day purpose such as cutting firewood, camping trip, hunting chopping bone etc. Semi polished of this jungle khukuri has fuller(ang khola) on the blade so that while work with the knife it doesn’t strike and can easily re-charge the knife and complete the work easily and comfortably.
The Handle of this beauty, made by Sadhan wood(Nepalese traditional name)which is not as silky so as to makes the stronghold of the grip. This khukuri is full Tang blade goes all the way through the handle and the steel Pamo on the back side of handle will make this Khukri even more stronger. The grip flares out to the bottom of the Khukri to help prevent from slipping off the handle. It has a thick handle guard which protect your finger to slip off to the front. The Khukuri is carried in a scabbard which is a wooden frame covered with leather. The Notch (Kaura) in the blade near the hilt of most Khukuri serve as a conduit for the blood on the blade to drip out thus prevents it from soiling the hilt, as well as a device for catching and neutralizing an enemy blade.
It has two nice little pockets to hold the tiny knives come along with your Iraqi Khukri tucked behind it.
Karda : one of the little knife, which is there for to cut small things and also work as a skinning the knife.
Chakmak : A sharpener, which is there for you to sharp the Khukuri and maintain the sharpness of the Khukuri. It can be used as a flint maker also.
