Especially designed for standard water applications to reduce cyst and sediment as well as chlorine taste and odor, the ICE120-S from 3M is a single cartridge water filtration system that provides high quality water for commercial ice machines. This water filtration system also has a built-in scale inhibitor to reduce lime scale build-up and the effects of chlorine corrosion for up to 34,069 liters (9000 gallon) at flow rates up to 5.7 liters per minute(1.5 gallons per minute. These water filtration systems use a patented valve-in-head design that makes cartridge change-outs simple by shutting off and venting water simultaneously, with no need to stop the upstream feed water. The cartridge design of this water filtration system is a Sanitary Quick Change (SQC) type that uses a simple 1/4 turn and minimizes the possibility of leakage and contamination during cartridge change-outs. The 3/8" FNPT horizontal inlet and outlet ports on this water filtration system provide direct or easily adaptable connections to plumbing lines.
