This is raw unpasteurized honey harvested during mustard flower blossom around farming areas of mustard. Mustards are grown all over Nepal from hilly areas to plains. Blossom time of mustard in Nepal is between November to January depending on altitude. Bees collect pollen and nectar from mustard flowers during this season so the taste of honey collected during mustard blossom is slightly unique compared to other raw honey like chiuri.
Mustard raw honey is slightly sweeter than chiuri raw honey and the glucose content in mustard raw honey is also generally high so crystallization of mustard raw honey is very common. Like every organic raw honey, this honey also has anti-microbial and immune boosting properties.
