The Redmi 10 (2022) keeps the same “Evol” design as last year’s Redmi 10. The rear has an enlarged rectangular module, and the front has a punch-hole cutout in the center for the selfie camera. For biometrics, there is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The front has the same 6.5-inch screen, with FullHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The panel employs AdaptiveSync technology, which adjusts the refresh rate between 45Hz, 60Hz, and 90Hz based on the content. And covering the screen is a layer of Gorilla Glass 3.
Performance
Redmi 10 2022 is more than adequate for everyday chores with MediaTek Helio G88 SoC. This is paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of eMMC storage. While some manufacturers have begun to offer UFS storage on lower-cost devices, eMMC appears to be a letdown here. Similarly, the phone operates on the Android 11-based MIUI 12.5.
